The 7th edition of the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy is in town this weekend, uniting alpine enthusiasts of all levels with mountain guides and professional athletes.
The 3 day event is hosting various types of clinics to advance your mountain skills and gain alpine knowledge from Friday 5th until Sunday the 8th July. The clinics offered this year, such as Mountaineering Education level 1-3, Acclimatisation, Multi-pitch rock climbing, Norvan trail running and many more, with be held in the Mont-Blanc Massif and Aiguilles Rouges.
They have a fantastic line-up of guides and athletes from Nina Caprez, Stian Hagen, Brette Harrington, Ines Papert, Thibaud Dutchosal and much more. All the clinics have been booked with alpine enthusiasts from over 25 countries. If you haven’t booked a clinic this year, there is always Arc’teryx Alpine Academy 2019!
And don’t forget! The Alpine Village is running throughout the weekend all day at Place Balmat, Chamonix. There will be free-for-all activities, demos, movie night, live gigs, a silent auction, photo exhibition and much more. You can drop by the Academy partners’ stands to test the latest equipment, gear and even get your Gore-Tex clothing repaired for free at the Gore-Tex Repair Center.
