Catherine Kartal has her art exposition “Ski-Snow-Sun: winter is over” at the Brasserie La Poitnière (Place Balmat, Chamonix) until the end of the month. She also host nature walks and art workshops throughout the season. Check out her website for more information at www.catkartal.com.
Grand Parcours Chamonix is returning for its 6th edition on Saturday and Sunday the 23-24th June. Open to mountaineering enthusiasts of all levels to come and discover or improve their skills with highly trained mountain guides. There are 370 spaces for people to join, with 3 levels depending on your experience (Discovery, Progression and Autonomy). CHAMFEST 2018 is a new 3 day festival brought to you by the lovely people at Chamonix All Year on Friday 15th June until Sunday the 17th. Open for the whole family from 10am to 10pm with live music, guest speakers, comedy entertainment, arts and crafts, great food and a chance to meet local craft beer and wine experts. Fancy dancing to the rhythm of latino music? Maison des Artists are hosting Latino Party every Tuesday. Professional dancer, Paola Ballart, will start the evening off at 9pm with some guided moves to set you for the rest of the evening dancing to DJ Brice’s latino beats.
Marathon du Mont Blanc is coming to town with 10,500 runners participating in 8 races – 90km, 42km, 23km, 10km, KM Vertcial, Starry Duet, Young Race Marathon and Mini Cross of Mont Blanc. The Chamonix Market is held every Saturday (from 8h00 until around 13h00) at Place Mont Blanc. You will find the best local produce including bread, cheese, fruits, vegetables, cured meats and classic vin chaud!
